I have a PC PEI plate from partsbuilt.com which is only coated on one side and works well. I needed a magnetic plate for a second printer and liked the one you sell so bought your PC PIE plate for more money but both sides coated. Works very well, and maybe even a little better than one from Partsbuilt. I have not used the magnetic plate yet as the one installed was a temp setup and I hav e not had time to redo that portion. If you are looking for a plate to do ABS/PETG/PLA with good adhesion and easy removal, the double sided PEI Powder coated plate is a very good investment.
I ordered the slap mat as well as fdm things and the resin scraper so far everything has been GREEATTTT so easy to clean and wash off and put right back. Only issue thus far is the aluminum vat cleaner tool it just doesn't seem to stick to anything really but it may be user error thus far.
Got it as a gift for my brother-in-law, and it's exactly what he was looking for. Exactly the right size, and he says prints come off the base so much more easily now, so that's a plus for more delicate objects.
Easy to install, and as long as you follow the instructions everything works great. I added this system to both of my GKtwo's and it is so much easier to remove anything off of the build plates. I have tried about 3 prints on each machine so far, all of which have printed perfectly. I got the xtr because I do fairly large prints and didnt want to worry about the plate coming off with a full build plate. Very happy with this product.
I have the Carbon plate for Elegoo Neptune 4 Plus and I was having issues with stock plate not gripping. Prints were very inconsistent. Opted for the Carbon plate from Wham Bam and Thank Ya Mam. This plate is awesome. It does loose grip after about 8 prints or so and then I just wash off and good to go. Only issue I have had is that if I am printing a full plate of an item the prints do not adhere properly on thefront edge of the plate closest to me. I think this is because the bed is so large and temp not high enough on the front edge. I just bump temp up about 5°C and issue resolved. Other than that I am very happy with my plate from Wham Bam and will be buying more soon.
I bought it for my modded Ender 5 S1 FDM printer. It fits like glove, exactly the size I wanted. The quality of workmanship and materials are also really good.
